The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide leaked in case listings, and the design shift is more dramatic than I expected

Leaked Alibaba case images shared by Ice Universe suggest Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is real and headed for a major redesign.

The foldable appears wider than previous Fold models, with a dual rear camera setup and a 4:3 inner display layout.

If accurate, the new shape could make the device feel more like a small tablet, improving usability and media viewing.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Fold 8 Wide at its July 22, 2026 Galaxy Unpacked event, alongside other next-gen devices.
