Suica and ICOCA "Show Mobile Commuter Pass" to Begin in Spring 2027, Allowing Pass Use Even Outside IC Areas

JR Group will launch a new mobile commuter pass service in spring 2027 for Mobile Suica and Mobile ICOCA.

The new “Miseru Mobile Teikiken” will let users show their app screen to staff and use passes even at stations outside IC coverage.

Commuters and students will be able to buy and use passes by app in more areas, reducing the need for paper passes and counter procedures.
