LG Uplus builds broadcast circuits for the North and Central America World Cup... strengthens transmission stability over 14,000 km

LG Uplus is building a dedicated 14,000-km broadcast line for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The network links the Dallas IBC to Korea through multiple routes, split into 4-path and 2-path configurations.

It adds hitless protection, SRT, and MNG backup systems to reduce outages and delay in live transmission.

The upgrade is designed to improve the stability and quality of Korea’s international sports coverage.
