Smart glasses "Meta Ray-Ban Display" to add handwriting input that lets users type characters with only finger movements

Meta is adding new software features to Ray-Ban Display glasses, including finger-based neural handwriting input, display recording, live captions, and walking directions.

The update aims to make the glasses more useful for hands-free communication, sharing, and accessibility in everyday use.

Meta is also opening a developer preview, giving developers early access to build apps for the display glasses.

A future rollout of the Muse Spark multimodal model is planned to expand the device’s AI capabilities.
