Haunted Chocolatier Is Set To Be ‘Way Bigger than Stardew Valley,’ Somehow

Eric Barone says he now spends most of his week on Haunted Chocolatier, with the rest devoted to Stardew Valley’s upcoming 1.7 update.

He described Haunted Chocolatier as larger in scope than Stardew Valley, including more maps, monsters, item systems, and equipment.

Barone also said the new game will have a darker, slightly creepy tone.

The update offers a rare look at one of the most anticipated indie games and suggests a bigger ambition than Stardew Valley.
