Google’s AI mode now lets users ask questions while viewing pages, with cross-search too

Google has updated Chrome’s AI Mode to let users ask follow-up questions while viewing a web page.

Users can now compare pages side by side and search across multiple open tabs on desktop and mobile.

The rollout begins in the U.S. and will expand to other regions later.

The upgrade makes Chrome’s AI-assisted search more interactive and context-aware for research.
