Meta tests limits on repeated recommendations for teen Instagram accounts

Meta is testing fewer repeated recommendations of sensitive topics for Instagram teen accounts.

The change affects suggested content in Feed, Explore, and Reels, including topics like anxiety, nutrition, and weightlifting.

Meta says the goal is to reduce overexposure without fully blocking those topics for teens.

The company also plans to roll stricter teen content settings out to Facebook and Messenger later this year.
