MTG Arena developers say profitable teams still faced layoffs and uncertainty

MTG Arena employees have launched a union campaign with the Communications Workers of America after layoffs and workplace changes created job insecurity.

Wizards of the Coast refused voluntary recognition, sending the dispute to a National Labor Relations Board election on June 2.

The proposed bargaining unit would cover 97 eligible workers at the MTG Arena team.
