A Dell SupportAssist Remediation update is triggering repeated BSODs and reboot loops on some Dell PCs.

The problem appears tied to version 5.5.16.0 and the Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin, released April 30.

Crash dumps point to DellSupportAssistRemedationService.exe, with bugcheck 0xEF CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED on affected systems.

Users report temporary relief by disabling the remediation service or uninstalling SupportAssist components; Dell has not yet confirmed a fix.
