Diners Club makes it possible to exchange points for the stablecoin JPYC

Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Club will launch a service on June 1 that lets Diners Club and TRUST CLUB cardholders exchange reward points for JPYC, a Japanese yen stablecoin.

Users will apply through Club Online and receive JPYC in HashPort Wallet.

A points-back campaign for exchange users will run through November 30.

It is being positioned as Japan’s first credit-card reward point conversion service into a stablecoin.
