Intel May Be Struggling To Supply Enough Of Its New Chips

Intel is reportedly struggling to supply enough Core and Core Ultra Series 3 chips to its partners.

The shortage is partly linked to continued dependence on TSMC-made components, even as Intel pushes newer products.

Older Intel PC chips like Alder Lake and Raptor Lake were also tied to TSMC production, limiting flexibility.

A new Xeon 6+ server chip could add more pressure, and Intel says it is working to resolve the shortfall.
