Now Playing on Google Pixel brings back a recently removed feature

Google is bringing back the Pixel Now Playing lock-screen shortcut, “Tap to see what’s playing.”

Android System Intelligence B.23 is starting to restore manual song identification on some Pixel phones.

That gives users a practical way to identify tracks when automatic detection misses them.

The silent notification for identified songs is still not back yet.
