An OpenAI-linked news outlet appears to be entirely AI-generated

A Midas Project report says The Wire by Acutus has published nearly 100 articles that appear mostly AI-generated.

A Pangram-based analysis flagged most of the outlet’s stories as AI-written or partly AI-written.

The site says it uses an editorial process, but it has no named editors or reporters, raising transparency concerns.

Researchers also questioned whether its framing and engagement patterns may align with OpenAI-related lobbying interests.
