The new ‘Masters of the Universe’ movie is finally moving toward release after decades of troubled development across multiple studios and filmmakers.

Travis Knight now directs the live-action fantasy, with Nicholas Galitzine, Jared Leto, and Camila Mendes leading the cast.

The project follows the 1987 film’s commercial failure and comes as Mattel doubles down on turning its brands into Hollywood hits after ‘Barbie’.
