OnePlus’ latest phone cuts OS updates in half, because clearly everything is fine

OnePlus launched the Nord CE6 in select regions with strong mid-range hardware and a 6-year fluency promise.

Reports say the phone will only get two major Android OS upgrades and possibly four years of security updates.

That would make its support policy weaker than the Nord CE5’s, despite the newer model and marketing claims.

The update gap is raising questions about OnePlus’s long-term support commitments and OxygenOS policy.
