YouTube Boosts Visibility of Labels on AI-Generated Videos

YouTube will make AI-content labels more visible across videos, including Shorts.

The platform will also use automated detection to label AI-generated or materially AI-altered uploads when creators do not disclose AI use.

YouTube says the labels will not affect ranking or monetization.

The update aims to give viewers clearer context as synthetic media becomes more common on the platform.
