As hackers say they’ve cracked Denuvo DRM, 2K and Denuvo reportedly add mandatory 14-day checks to some games

Hackers reportedly found a way around Denuvo’s single-player DRM, triggering a new publisher response.

2K and Denuvo are said to have added server-based 14-day reauthorization checks to some games.

Affected titles may need periodic online reconnects to keep working, which could hurt offline play.

The change could also complicate use on devices like Steam Deck and other portable setups.
