Anthropic is considering removing Claude Code from its cheapest plan

Anthropic is testing a small change to its $20 Pro plan that could remove Claude Code for about 2% of new prosumer signups.

Existing Pro and Max subscribers are not affected by the test.

The company says usage has grown beyond what current plans were built to support.

Anthropic is considering new pricing or access options as it struggles to scale popular products.
