Sony's Xperia 1 VIII Has Bigger Camera Sensors And A New Look

Sony unveiled the Xperia 1 VIII, a flagship phone focused on upgraded photography and a redesigned rear camera layout.

It adds a larger telephoto sensor, AI-based camera suggestions, and Sony’s Xperia Intelligence features for easier shooting.

The phone includes a 6.5-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 support, and uncommon premium extras like a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing starts at €1,499 / £1,399, with pre-orders opening in Europe and no US launch planned for now.
