Amazon's Alexa can now generate podcasts on whatever topic you want. But, will anyone listen?

Amazon added an Alexa+ feature that lets US Prime members generate custom AI-hosted podcasts on topics they choose.

The system uses partnered publishers, shows an outline for approval, then produces a short episode with two AI voices.

The launch is meant to boost interest in Alexa+, which has seen limited traction so far.

But the feature also faces broader skepticism about AI tools and concerns about accuracy in AI-generated summaries.
