AWS has made OpenClaw generally available on Amazon Lightsail as a preconfigured blueprint for running a private autonomous AI agent.

The setup pairs the agent with a browser and can optionally connect messaging channels like WhatsApp, Discord, and Telegram.

Amazon Bedrock is the default backend for chat and task automation, with configurable IAM permissions and usage-based pricing.

The launch reduces setup and security overhead for self-hosted AI agents on AWS.
