PSA: Check your banking app for a potentially important setting

A bank app feature for recurring card-payment alerts was disabled by default, so instant notifications did not arrive until users manually turned it on.

That can let subscription charges, canceled services, or fraudulent repeat payments go unnoticed for longer.
