Samsung, Google and Apple Made It Way Easier to Switch From an iPhone to Android

Samsung’s Smart Switch now works with Apple’s iOS 26 Transfer to Android flow for easier iPhone-to-Galaxy migration.

The process can wirelessly move text history, app data, and home screen layouts, with app equivalents downloading correctly.

It still had a few glitches in testing, but the transfer completed and the iPhone SIM was converted to eSIM on the Android phone.

The update removes a major hurdle for people switching from iPhone to Android.
