Apple @ Work: Apple TV proves to be more reliable than Android in new digital signage report

Kitcast’s 2026 digital signage report found Apple TV outperformed Android devices in enterprise reliability.

Across 1,000 Apple TVs and 250 Android devices over 12 months, Apple TV posted 99% median uptime and fewer offline events.

Apple TV also had a much lower replacement rate, suggesting lower total cost of ownership at scale.

The results imply that cheaper Android hardware may create more downtime, reboots, and maintenance for enterprise signage teams.
