Riot clarifies Trainwreck's Valorant ban: "This wasn't just a five-stack with friends on their own accounts"

Riot Games said Trainwreck’s 31-day Valorant suspension was triggered by a teammate repeatedly using lower-rank smurf or shared accounts, not by five-stacking itself.

The company said the behavior violated its rules against account sharing and boosting, and that five-stacking is allowed when every player uses an account they own.

Riot also said it issued a hardware ban to the repeat offender behind the account misuse.

The clarification helps define how Riot will enforce ranked-play rules for streamers and other high-rank Valorant parties.
