Apple released tvOS 26.6 developer beta 1 for Apple TV with a refreshed splash screen and interface tweaks.

The update adds Genius Browse for easier content discovery and folds movie and TV access into the Apple TV app library, replacing iTunes apps.

It also improves animations and screen saver behavior, adds long-press profile and power controls, and shows privacy indicators.

Apple says the beta includes bug fixes and performance improvements aimed at making Apple TV smoother and more transparent to use.
