2026 Subaru Uncharted Is a Highway and Off-Road EV Dark Horse

The 2026 Subaru Uncharted GT is Subaru’s new mainstream EV, developed with Toyota help and aimed at combining road comfort with off-road ability.

In testing, the GT felt quick on highways and capable on rough terrain, helped by Subaru’s X-MODE system and a Tesla NACS charging port for Supercharger access.

Its EPA-estimated range is 273 miles, but real-world highway driving cut that to roughly 240–250 miles.

The test car cost $46,215 and includes only a basic driver-assist suite, so it is more about capability than advanced tech.
