Amazon Japan Is Now Transporting Packages on Shinkansen Bullet Trains

Amazon Japan has started moving parcels on Shinkansen bullet trains with Japan Railway.

The service uses non-passenger space on three routes linking Greater Tokyo with central and northern Japan.

It is part of Amazon’s emissions-reduction strategy and Climate Pledge efforts.

Using passenger rail for parcels could cut delivery emissions while improving speed across regional Japan.
