Nothing’s new 'Essential Voice' wants to kill your mobile keyboard for good

Nothing has launched Essential Voice, an AI-powered voice-to-text tool built into its keyboard and Essential Key.

The feature cleans up speech by removing filler words and repetitions, while supporting formatting, shortcuts, and 100+ languages.

It is available now on the Nothing Phone 3, with a rollout to other models, including Phone 4a Pro and Phone 4a, to follow.

The move could make phone input faster and more flexible, pushing beyond standard dictation toward a more voice-first experience.
