Nvidia partners with Corning to build the fiber optic backbone for next-gen AI data centers

Nvidia and Corning signed a multi-year deal to expand U.S. fiber optic manufacturing for next-generation AI infrastructure.

Corning plans to build three new facilities in Texas and North Carolina to increase fiber capacity.

The expansion is expected to create more than 3,000 jobs and help ease a major bottleneck for AI data centers.

By boosting domestic optical connectivity, the partnership could support faster large-scale data center buildouts.
