The $135M Google Data Settlement Site Is Live — See If You're Eligible

The official settlement website for Taylor v. Google LLC is now live, allowing eligible users to file claims and select payment methods.

Google reached a preliminary $135 million settlement in January covering about 100 million U.S. Android users over alleged passive cellular data transfers.

The court's final approval hearing is set for June 23; objections or exclusion requests must be filed by May 29.

Google will update Google Play terms to note passive data transfers and will stop data collection when background data is turned off.
