Blue Origin CEO Says New Glenn Will Fly Again Before The Year Ends

Blue Origin says it expects to repair Launch Complex 36 and resume New Glenn launches before the end of the year.

The damage followed a May 28 explosion during a hotfire test at Cape Canaveral, disrupting New Glenn’s return to flight.

NASA administrator Jared Isaacman warned the pad restoration could take until 2028, far longer than Blue Origin’s timeline.

The uncertainty could affect NASA lunar plans and Amazon satellite deployments that depend on New Glenn.
