Bethesda Reminds Switch 2 Fans Its "Physical Code-In-Box" Editions Of Fallout 4 And Skyrim Are Now Available

Bethesda says Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition and Skyrim Anniversary Edition are now available on Nintendo Switch 2 in boxed retail form.

Despite the packaging, both releases are code-in-box versions and require a full download rather than including a game card.

Bethesda also confirmed similar physical treatment for Oblivion Remastered, while Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will receive an actual game card release.

The move underscores how some Switch 2 “physical” editions may be placeholders, which could disappoint buyers and collectors.
