Google debuts Gemma 4 open AI models for local use

Google released Gemma 4, a family of open AI models available under the Apache 2.0 license.

The suite includes E2B and E4B models for edge and mobile, and 26B and 31B models for PCs and workstations.

Gemma 4 supports multimodal tasks, 140+ languages, agentic workflows, and up to 256K token context windows for long-range reasoning.
