Alibaba unveils AI model "Qwen3.7-Plus" that rivals Claude Opus 4.6

Alibaba’s Qwen team launched Qwen3.7-Plus, a multimodal hybrid agent that handles text, images, and video.

The company says it matches or beats Claude Opus 4.6 on some benchmarks, including Terminal-Bench 2.0.

Qwen3.7-Plus can interpret app UIs, generate code from images, and answer visual questions with web knowledge.

It is now available through Qwen Studio and Alibaba Cloud, with API pricing published.
