Project creator Elias55745 is selling a fully assembled mini laser printer for $64 and intends to offer a self-assembly kit; the store was under maintenance so the shopping cart wasn’t working and prices may be shown in Yen.

The laser head is 5V 250mW — suitable for wood, leather, and paper (not metal); it works best on dark materials.

Hardware: 50mm x 50mm bed frame, ATmega328 microcontroller running firmware (GRBL), and a micro stepper motor positions the laser head; the stepper can be new or salvaged from a Samsung optical disc drive.

Required parts and tools include a cooling fan, a 12V power pack, a 3D printer for chassis parts, and a custom PCB (source files provided).
