Vitamin C May Fight Cancer in a Surprising Way

Researchers are re-examining high-dose intravenous vitamin C as a possible cancer therapy because it can reach blood levels that pills cannot.

Earlier oral vitamin C trials found no survival benefit, but they did not test IV delivery, which may work differently in the body.

At high concentrations, IV vitamin C may help generate hydrogen peroxide and selectively damage cancer cells, though this remains experimental.
