Conductor has joined the wave of cloud coding agents that run development tasks on remote servers instead of inside a local editor.

Its approach clones repositories into isolated sandboxes, executes work on vendor infrastructure, and returns branches or pull requests.

That puts Conductor in the same category as offerings from Cursor, GitHub, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and Devin.
