Boston-based CORE Biomedicine raised $21 million in Series A financing.

The round was co-led by UTokyo Innovation Platform and Elikon Venture, with support from several other investors.

The company will use the capital to develop lineage-based precision oncology therapies.

The approach aims to go beyond genomics-only strategies and enable broader, more effective cancer treatments.
