AIGen: Automating AI Bill of Materials Generation Through Hybrid MLOps Integration

Researchers introduced AIGen, a modular system that automatically generates machine-readable AI Bills of Materials (AIBoMs).

The tool combines MLOps signals, mining heuristics, and large language models to produce SPDX 3.0-compliant outputs.

AIGen is designed to be extensible through plugins and fit into modern stacks such as MLflow, Hugging Face, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

It aims to support governance and compliance efforts aligned with the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001.
