Sony's upcoming handheld could outperform Xbox Series S with next-gen upscaling

Leaks say Sony's rumored handheld 'Canis' may have a GPU faster than the Xbox Series S and strong ray-tracing performance.

Reported SoC specs include four Zen 6C cores up to 2.2GHz, 12–20 RDNA 5 compute units, LPDDR5X-7500 memory, and a 15W TDP.

Canis and the PS6 are expected to support upcoming AMD FSR and Sony PSSR upscaling revisions that aim to beat DLSS 4.5.

If the leaks are accurate, Canis could run many modern games locally and arrive before or around the PS6 era.
