Suspicious… “Just press Like to earn money” → Users end up being asked for large sums; National Consumer Affairs Center warns

The National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan warned about side-job scams promoted on SNS and video ads with claims like “just press like.”

These schemes can lead to hefty payment demands and losses caused by remote-control apps that trick victims into taking out loans.

The agency says the scams are spreading by preying on people who expect easy money, especially younger users.
