Panasonic launches LED lighting series to replace fluorescent lamps; household fluorescent lamps to end by late 2027

Panasonic will launch 12 new LED fixtures in early September as replacements for linear fluorescent lamps.

The lineup includes LED sink lights and multi-purpose lights using the newly developed Palook LED line lamp.

The products are designed for fixture replacement, not just lamp swapping, to reduce safety risks.

The move comes as demand rises ahead of the end-2027 ban on fluorescent lamp manufacturing and imports.
