The drives are high-end Gen 4.0 WD_Black SN7100 units, about $200 each, totaling nearly $2,000.

The Redditor revealed the retailer's name; such shipping errors often occur with large retailers like Amazon — if it was Amazon, past practice suggests they'd be allowed to keep them.

The user could sell some or all drives or use them to build a PC; a prior incident involved two boxes of SSDs worth $5K a few months ago.
