JR Chuo Line's "Nishiogi Under the Viaduct" to Grand Open in June

JR East Urban Development will fully open the "Nishiogikubo Elevated Underpass" commercial complex in June with the Phase 3 area.

The project has been developed in stages under the JR Chuo Line between Nishiogikubo and Kichijoji stations, spanning about 200 meters.

The site adds walkways and shared spaces, while attracting everyday convenience stores and services for local use.

Phase 1 opened in November 2023 and Phase 2 in July 2024; Phase 3 will add eight stores, six of which have already been announced.
