Google Offers Free PC Upgrade For 500 Million Windows Users

Google is offering a free ChromeOS Flex upgrade now.

The offer targets more than 500 million Windows 10 PC users who cannot move to Windows 11.

Google also launched a ChromeOS Flex USB Kit today, costing about $3 or €3 and reusable.

Back Market helps install ChromeOS Flex on devices users already own.

Windows 10 support ended last October, and free ESU runs until October this year. Google also says ChromeOS uses 19% less energy on average, while Closing the Loop helps cut e-waste.
