Valve's Steam Deck is back in stock after months, but you won't like it

Valve has restocked the Steam Deck after months of shortages caused by RAM and storage supply constraints.

The OLED models are back, but prices are much higher: the 512GB version is $789 and the 1TB version is $949.

Valve has also discontinued the older $399 256GB LCD model.

The return improves availability, but the steep price hike makes the handheld harder to justify in an already expensive market.
