Money Forward announced “Money Forward AI Cowork,” a new AI agent service for back-office operations, with early access now open.

It will connect with the company’s cloud products to autonomously handle tasks such as invoicing, payment reconciliation, attendance management, and payroll.

Users can operate it via chat or list selection, and the service includes guardrails, audit logs, and human approval steps for safety.

The move reflects a shift from human-operated workflows to AI-driven completion in finance, HR, and legal operations amid labor shortages.
