Intel launches Wildcat Lake as Core Series 3 for value laptops and edge systems — six consumer SKUs built on 18A promise 'all-day' battery life

Intel officially launched Wildcat Lake as the Core Series 3, a value-focused mobile chip family built on its 18A process.

The lineup includes six consumer processors plus one edge-only part, with more than 70 laptop designs expected from major PC makers.

Wildcat Lake uses a two-tile design, single-channel memory, integrated NPU, and Xe3 graphics to target student, small-business, and edge devices.

The launch broadens Intel’s 18A roadmap beyond premium systems and could help drive the next wave of lower-cost PC refreshes.
