Starbucks Opens at Yokohama’s Former Nagahama Quarantine Station No. 1, a Registered Tangible Cultural Property

Yokohama City will open the relocated and restored former Nagahama Quarantine Station No. 1 on August 10.

The building will house a history exhibit space and the new Starbucks Yokohama Uminokoen store.

The project is drawing attention as a case that combines heritage preservation with a new community hub.
